Enjoy all the enchanting and fun-filled entertainment available at the Lake George RV Park, Upstate New York's premier RV resort in the Adirondacks. Our live talent rivals other RV resorts in New York and throughout the nation, plus the performances are perfect for the whole family. Below is a listing of the 2009 performance artists.



 

ADIRONDACK ANIMAL PROGRAMSJoin Beth Bidwell of The Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York for a walk on the wild side! The Adirondacks are home to a diversity of wildlife. Meet some of the animals that you may encounter during your Adirondack Adventures. Come face to face with live birds of prey, reptiles, and amphibians. Discover how these animals survive in the wild and how you can find them in their natural habitats.  This weekly program during the Summer season is part of the Lake George RV Park's new Nature Awareness Program offered free to all guests at our Bingo Pavilion most Tuesday and Thursday mornings in July and August at 10am. The same show is repeated on Tuesday and Thursday every week so we encourage our guest to choose only one date during their visit.

  FREE FAMILY BINGO - The whole family will enjoy this evening of fun and a chance to win a shopping voucher that can be used towards goods and services at our campground store. Only $5 deposit per card, limit one card per person. Deposit returned to players after last game of the evening. Family Bingo is held during our Summer season at the Bingo Pavilion near our main entrance. Held every Monday and Thursday from 8-9:30 pm.
 
VINCENZO'S MAGIC & ILLUSION SHOW - Take a vacation from reality. Vincenzo’s Magic & Illusion show is just the right blend of grand illusion, skillful prestidigitation and hilarious comedy. Having performed all over the world, including two volunteer tours for our troops, Vincenzo’s unique brand of comedy and magic is a show that has it all. 8:00pm
  TODD CHARLES COMEDY EXTRAVAGANZA - Just another typical banjo-playing, hand-shadow impression, animal, comedy act will suffice to describe this truly unique and upbeat, family comedy show. An RV enthusiast himself, Todd’s credits include appearance’s in MTV videos, performances on off-Broadway, and a regular on the National Comedy Circuit. 8:00 pm
JEFF TAVEGGIA: JUGGLING AND OTHER BAD HABITS - He whizzes around stage on a razor scooter while juggling, he plays ping-pong with 9 paddles at once! Neon lights, blocks, knives, balls, clubs, rings and more fly from his fingers to create rainbows of motion in the air. It's a mesmerizing display of incomparable dexterity. 8:00pm
  DJ DANCE & LIGHT SHOW - A local professional DJ presents an evening of music and dancing - contemporary and oldies selections. All ages welcome. 7-10:30 pm
  STEPHEN GRATTO: COMEDY JUGGLING and VARIETY SHOW - Juggler, unicyclist, fire eater, stilt walker, rope walker, hatchet thrower, balloon sculpter and balancer, Stephen Gratto is a physical comedian and much much more. All performances are fast-paced and exciting displays of many classic vaudeville and circus skills including many feats of daring, bravery, and side-splitting foolishness. The high point of each act is invariably the audience participation. Almost every portion of the Stephen Gratto Variety Show involves audience volunteers, both young and old. This interaction keeps everyone involved and laughing. Stephen is truly a jack of all trades and a master of many.  8:00 pm
  REPTILE ENCOUNTERS - For over 300 million years, reptiles have remained feared and misunderstood by many. This Summer you’re invited to join Mark Perpetua on select Monday’s in our Bingo Pavilion to learn more about this interesting class of animals. Turtles, alligators, lizards and snakes may be featured in this fun lecture. With an alligator in his arms Mark explains the adaptations needed to survive. While handling a snapping turtle or rattlesnake he discusses their role in ecology. Mark will also dispell many myths as he 'wraps up' with a giant python. Mark Perpetua is a zoologist who has kept, studied and lectured on reptiles and wildlife for over ten years. This exciting presentation and educational program by Reptile Encounters will amaze and delight audiences of all ages. 10:00am 
BAMBOUK: A CLOWN THEATRE EXTRAVAGANZA  - Bambouk's unique mix of music, magic, juggling, comedy and audience participation has been called 'Inspiring', 'Brilliant', 'Superb', and 'Hilarious!' From Theaters to Cruise Ships, Theme Parks to Festivals, From New York to China, Bambouk is a 'Smashing Success!' 8:00pm
  ERIC GEOFFREY'S: HIGH PEAKS JUGGLING SHOW - The High Peaks Juggling Show is a highly interactive comedy juggling experience, with elements of vaudeville, theater, and the flavor of an old fashioned variety show. Drawing on over 20 years experience including a stint with the Ringling Bros. circus as a trapeze clown, Eric Geoffrey’s antics will delight, amuse, and amaze audiences of all ages with his unique comedic stylings. Full of unexpected objects and lots of audience participation, you never know who will end up being the star of the show.  8:00 pm

 

THE MICHAEL MILLS MAGIC & ILLUSION SHOW - All New Show For 2009. Mike Mills returns for his twelfth season of amazing and hilarious magic and memorable illusions. This is not your ordinary magic show.  Michael uses state of the art sound and lighting to make this an unforgetable evening of entertainment for your family. Don't miss the excitement as Michael presents the magic that has made him Lake George RV Park's most popular magician.  8:00 pm

  STEPHEN AND OTHER DUMMIES - This comedy concert stars the talented husband and wife team, Stephen and Stephanie Brubaker. These '1996 Who's Who in Entertainment' inductees combine music, robotic mime, outrageous props, audience participation, impressions and vocal acrobatics in one fast-paced performance. 8:00pm

NATURE'S ART:  Hands-on Worksops Celebrating the Adirondacks - The Hyde Collection art museum for a hands-on art activity! Each craft session will engage families while they create handcrafted momentos of their summer vacation. New project themes offered each week. Topics may include: Nature’s Landscape - capture memories of the Lake George region by drawing a landscape; Nature’s Animals - illustrate Adirondack wildlife while learning to use artist scratchboard; and Nature’s Photos - develop a keepsake image of objects found in nature by using photo-sensitive paper and light.  All Nature’s Art workshops are designed for children ages six and older with an adult chaperone. Moms, dads, sisters, brothers, and grandparents are welcome to participate in this interactive family activity. Scheduled on specific Wednesday’s from 10am to 11am in the Bingo Pavilion.  Supplies are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis for this FREE activity.  After creating your own work of art, plan a visit to The Hyde Collection. It’s a great way to spend a rainy afternoon! Tour historic Hyde House and the current exhibition.  The Hyde is located on Warren Street in downtown Glens Falls.

  DAZZLE DOGS - Dazzle Dogs are a remarkably unique, talented and 'dazzling' group of dogs who will delight audiences of all ages with their exceptional talents. One has to see to believe the exceptional performances of these dynamic dogs as they dance, fly over and through agility obstacles in rare styles never seen before. They will truly dazzle all, leaving you wanting more. 8:oopm

RODERICK RUSSELL: SWORD SWALLOWER - One of only 50 living sword swallowers in the entire world, Roderick Russell has been described as strangely sophisticated, successfully blending suggestion and psychology with his own personal mind-over-body techniques to present a show that bravely pushes the limits of the possible - both physically and mentally. Presenting the most dangerous and bizarre feats with wit, charm and style, Roderick also deftly navigates deep into the minds of the audience to create the most personal and profound type of theater experience. Call him a sword swallower. Call him a mentalist. ABC News calls him a 'rare find.' 8:00 pm

  ROGER THE JESTER - An entertaining evening of goofy, clumsy antics and bedazzling circus & juggling tricks. This professional mime/clown/jester will amaze you with a show full of laughs in the tradition of greats like Buster Keaton and Red Skelton. 8:00 pm
AUDIOBODY - A sonic performance that has been described as a modern-day Smothers Brothers meets Blue Man Group! You will cheer as they produce their maniacal music on a chrome spine of electro-drums! You will gasp as they blur your vision with streaks of LED lights. You will guffaw (Yes! Guffaw!) at the sight of them when they don their electronic jump suits. You will marvel at their improvisational genius! And lastly, you will cry, because you just never want it to end! 8:00pm
 

DR. STEVE TAUBMAN'S HYPNOSIS EXTRAVAGANZA - Dr. Steve Taubman is a hilarious hypnotist, magician, and mindreader…and the world's first and only Master of MisPerception. Pay attention. If you can. Because behind all the laughs and entertainment audiences enjoy during Dr. Steve Taubman's performance is a deep mystery: can we really trust our perceptions? One thing you can definitely trust is this: through astonishing hypnotism, magic and mindreading, Dr. Steve Taubman connects powerfully with your audience. And rewards them with unique and unforgettable encounters. 8:00 pm

THOSE TWO GUYS - With their newfangled vaudeville, Those Two Guys take audiences back in time in a futuristic way to bring more comedy, dangerous stunts, juggling, and outrageous physical feats to venues all over the U.S. and Canada. Dave Cox fuses technical skill with wild imagination to create an off-the-wall performance delivered with brilliant, dry wit. Patrick Ferri performs hysterical and unpredictable slapstick stunts and character comedy for the modern day. 8:00pm
  THE INCREDIBLE LARRY - Larry's show is awesome! Filled with world-class circus skills and non-stop laughs, this interactive comedy show is guaranteed to leave you with a whole new vision of what a juggler really is!  His unique comedic personality combines a blend of stand-up and physical comedy, as well as a healthy dose of audience participation to guarantee an entertaining event every time.  Larry's bag of tricks is endless, from the traditional, to the more unique styles of classic vaudeville, done with modern and upbeat music make this show a guaranteed hit! 8:00pm
  SYLVIA MARKSON's MAJIC TRUNK - From a young age, Sylvia Markson was able to give voice to some very imaginative creatures. A talented ventriloquist, she has built a thriving career performing in front of thousands of fans—young and old. Professional Ventriloquist, Sylvia Markson will delight you with her comical cast of wise cracking characters. You'll meet a hilarious hip Latin opossum; watch a mysterious picture come to life, see an overweight genie, and many more outrageous surprises. Young and old will light up with this fabulous 45 minute Variety Show. 8:00pm
  GEOCACHING - Join Jim Powell for some high-tech "treasure hunting" using the Global Positioning System that anyone can do. Jim is an avid geocacher with over 18 years of navigation experience from all over the world, but his love is the Adirondacks. Discover this wonderful world as a family outing or a personal journey to discover new places. Come see how fun and easy using technology can be. Whether you own a GPS now or you are just wondering how you get involved come and join us to see the exciting world of Geocaching. Select Fridays during July and August in our Bingo Pavilion. 10:00am 
TWO: HIGH ENERGY JUGGLING - The “TWO” brothers from Rochester, NY are here to show everyone what high energy juggling is all about! Matthew and Jason Tardy have created a show that features everything from high tech juggling and fire eating to physical comedy and full body contortion. They juggle various ‘props-of-doom,’ perform mind bending choreography, and in complete darkness, create streaks of color changing light that glide through the air. This is all choreographed to cutting-edge, upbeat original music. 8:00 pm
  CHRIS MCDANIEL: TRICK ROPER - Chris McDaniel, World Champion trick roper, proudly displays his familiarity with the Wild West through his bull whip-cracking, gun twirling, rope trick performance. Chris' bearded look and charm adds to the excitement as he makes sure to whip the crowd into a frenzy. 8:00pm
