The roar of the motorcycles is upon us, Americade is back! Our guests and our staff look forward to a return to the regular schedule of Americade. There are plenty of activities to keep the family entertained throughout the week.
Wednesday June 8th there will be a comedy show in the Fort William Henry Big Top Tent, called Knights of the Round Table – An Absurd Night of True Tales. During this show, five famous motorcyclists will share their stories and attempt to have the best story.
Wednesday June 8th Veterans are invited to traverse the lake on the Lake George Steamboat Company’s Veterans’ Cruise. Guests will have an opportunity to be a part of the special cruise to honor veterans and their service to our country.
Wednesday June 8th there is another show in the Fort William Henry Big Top Tent, called Chickistan! The Adventurous, All-Women, All-American Group. This show shares the experience of women who toured Pakistan together. They share their stories with the hope of encouraging other women to also travel the rural countryside of Pakistan.
Friday June 10th there will be fireworks in the Village of Lake George around 8:30 PM. The fireworks are let off from a barge on the Lake, so they are visible from the beaches in the Village. Grab a pizza from one of the many pizzerias in Lake George, bring a blanket and make a picnic out of the night.
Saturday June 11th The Boar’s Nest on Patton Mills Rd in Fort Ann is hosting their annual Biker Bash. The party starts at 8 PM, and goes until 2 AM. There is a bonfire, multiple bands, as well as many other entertaining activities.
As always, there will be plenty of opportunities to walk around the village and check out all of the different bikes. The streets are sure to be full of spectators and motorcycle enthusiasts alike. No matter how you choose to spend the week of Americade, there is sure to be entertainment all around!
