Lake George RV Park On Site RV Rentals FAQ

All of our Park Trailer & Cabin rentals sleep up to six adults comfortably. All of our Park Trailers have the same layout, consisting of one bedroom which is furnished with a queen-size bed and the other with two sets of twin bunk beds (these bunks offer two sets of twin sized mattresses). Twin sized bunk beds may not be appropriate to sleep small children or large adults.
All of our Deluxe Cabins also have the same layout and currently only one floor plan.  You would need to provide your own portable crib for young children if desired. If staying in a Cabin, bedrails are provided. If staying in a Park Model, bedrails are NOT included, but guests are welcome to bring their own.

Tents, screen houses and canopies are not permitted on park model or cabin sites. Each park model comes with a patio and full awning. Cabins come with covered patio structure.

No, VCR/DVD players are not provided.  The Park models have one color television provided in the living room area and one small color TV located in the master bedroom, with access to free cable TV stations. Cabins have three televisions total. One in the master bedroom, one in the living room and one in the second bedroom, with access to free cable TV stations.

No. There are no telephones or modem access in our Rental Units. Connectivity is excellent for most cell phone service providers. Four to five signal bars can be experienced on most phones.

The French Mountain Trading Post located in the same building as our registration office, sells a good selection of groceries including Ice, snack foods, candy, chips, health and beauty products, as well as soft drinks, beer, milk and bread products.  In addition to our store, there are two major food markets within four miles of our location. See your vacation guide when you register for a map and directions to these local markets.  Our On-Site rentals are provided with trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, dish towels, and a broom and dust pan, but you will need to furnish other household products including paper towels, napkins, toiletries, etc.  Please note there is no dishwasher in any rental units.

Park Model: Pets are permitted in all park model units for 2026 (356-359).  There is a maximum of 2 pets allowed. All usual pet guidelines must be followed. Domestic pets only(cats or dogs).  Exotic pets are not allowed.

Deluxe Cabin: In 2026 pets are permitted in Cabins 366-370. There is a maximum of 2 pets allowed. All usual pet guidelines must be followed. Domestic pets only (cats or dogs).  Exotic pets are not allowed.

No. All rental units, Park Models & Deluxe Cabins are non-smoking units.

All Park Model & Deluxe Cabin rental patrons are permitted a maximum of eight persons in the unit or on the campsite at any one time. This includes overnight and day visitors and all persons registered on other sites in the Park. Visitors must register at our office and obtain a car pass.

Parking is allowed for one vehicle adjacent to your rental. Additional vehicles are directed to park in the nearest public parking area with a car pass visible. RV’s, boats, utility trailers and other water craft must be parked in our secure storage area for an additional fee. Contact our office for daily storage rates at (518) 792-3775.

Yes. All of our units are equipped with combination “house-sized” bathtubs/showers.

Park Model & Deluxe Cabin: Yes, a $300 refundable security deposit will be due at check-in.

Security deposits will be collected at check-in and refunded at check out (providing no damage has occurred).

No. We want your  experience to feel as though it was your own Adirondack home in the woods. Unlike hotels in Lake George, your privacy is paramount. While housekeeping is not provided during your stay, we make every effort to provide you with clean and comfortable accommodations when you arrive. We really want you to think of this as your home away from home. Your unit is furnished with a vacuum, broom and dust pan. Refuse is to be disposed of daily in trash cans located outside of your rental which is picked up daily. You can take recyclables, i.e. paper, plastics and aluminum, to the nearest recycling station (see Park map for locations).

**A rental linen/bedding package is available at an additional cost**

Our check-in and check-out times are designed to assure that all of our guests’ expectations are met upon arrival. It takes our staff time to clean each unit between guest arrivals and departures, therefore, it is very important that all of our guests abide by these times to assure the best possible experience.

Check-in time for all  rental units is 4:30 p.m. If you should register prior to 4:30 p.m. you may be asked to return to the office at check-in to obtain keys.

Check-out time on the day of your departure is 10 a.m. If you wish to stay and enjoy the facilities after 10 a.m. you may register at the office for extended check-out. You still must vacate the rental by 10 a.m. and remove all of your belongings from the RV and site, but extended check-out will allow you to park your vehicle in a designated area and utilize facilities until 6 p.m. that day for a nominal flat rate.

You may make a reservation for a park model or deluxe cabin by calling our office directly at (518) 792-3775 or by go to our reservations page. When reserving a unit, you will be provided with a comprehensive rental agreement. Our office staff begins taking reservations for rentals and campsites on the 1st Monday of October every season for the following year. It is advised that you book early for optimum availability. Our  rental agreements have been designed to assure that our guests have a complete understanding of the vacation experience that we offer prior to your arrival at our park. We want all of our guests to be 100% satisfied upon arrival. We strongly encourage our guests to consider vacation insurance upon booking. Whether you stay for a week or a weekend, you will feel more at home in your private Park Model or Deluxe Cabin than in a typical hotel room. Here, you don’t need to share walls with other guests, or be bothered by the noise of elevators. Each private rental unit offers 400 square feet of space, which is larger than what is offered at most hotels in Lake George. Inside, you have a full kitchen, two separate bedrooms, a private bathroom with a full size shower/bathtub and a spacious living room area. Outside you can enjoy the fresh air on your covered patio outfitted with patio chairs, a picnic table, gas grill and outdoor fireplace. You won’t find those amenities at your typical hotel!

Each cabin is named after one of the forty-six high peaks located in the Adirondacks. Individuals who summit each of the 46 high peaks wear a patch to denote this accomplishment, as each of the peaks is at least 3800′ with Mt. Marcy topping out at 5344′ – the tallest mountain in New York State!  Each cabin has framed photographic art of its peak, as well as a direction marker indicating how far away that summit is from us!
