Fall is in the air and that means Adirondack Nationals Car Show is coming! If you’ve never been, and you are a car enthusiast or just enjoy the rumble of mufflers and nostalgia, this is a can’t miss experience! Thursday night, September 8th, there is a kick off party at the Fort William Henry hotel complete with a DJ and dancing. Guests are encouraged to dress according to the theme. This year, the theme is the 1970’s. Friday and Saturday night beginning at 7pm is the Car Cruise on Canada Street. All registered cars will be driving up and down Canada Street, which is the main road in Lake George. This is a great time to sit and watch classic cars from years past as they cruise down the road. Saturday night at 10pm, there are fireworks over the lake. Car show is always a busy weekend in Lake George, and Canada Street is shut down for the cruise from 7pm to 10pm. If you are planning on attending as a spectator, you should plan to get there early. Bring your own chairs and sit along Canada Street.
