The 2022 Winter Olympics begin this week in Beijing China. Be sure to tune in as you cheer on team USA in your favorite winter event. Did you know that our park is only a little over an hour away from Lake Placid? Lake Placid hosted the winter Olympic games in 1932 and 1980. The most well-known was when they hosted the 1980 Winter Olympic games and the USA men’s hockey team, the underdogs, went on to win the gold medal. It’s a wonderful day trip to take if you’re visiting us and are looking for something unique to do. In other news, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning, indicating that we should expect another 6 weeks of winter. We’re choosing to be optimists in the matter and are hoping for an early spring! Speaking of spring, don’t forget to make your reservations soon! Spots are filling up quickly.
