As we approach our 60th anniversary, we thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane. Lake George RV Park was founded in 1966 by Victor and Jessica King and originally opened as the Lake George Travel Trailer Park with approximately 250 campsites. As the park continued to grow, the iconic East End was added in the mid-1970s. Through the 1980s and 1990s, the campground evolved into a more resort-style destination, expanding its amenities and experiences for generations of campers. More recent milestones include the addition of Charlie’s Bark Park in 2014 and Cascade Cove in 2018, bringing even more fun and comfort to our guests. Today, Lake George RV Park remains family-owned and operated by the King family, proudly continuing the legacy that began nearly six decades ago.
