Adirondack Balloon Festival 2022

Something beautiful is on the horizon… Look to the skies to see the delightful and vibrant colors of hot air balloons floating throughout the surrounding areas of the park. The 49th Annual Adirondack Balloon Festival will be taking place September 22nd-25th. Want to experience the balloons launching to the skies up close? Then head over the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury in the mornings to see the balloons go up with the sunrise. Not so much a morning person? Well you’re just in luck; Crandall Park in Glens Falls will be hosting festivities through the weekend as well. Both spaces will be jam packed with activities and vendors, including but not limited to a craft show.

The Adirondack Balloon Festival takes pride in being a community driven event, admission is free and it is purely a volunteered ran event. Although dogs are not allowed at the event itself, this festival can provide fun for the whole family. Feel free to bring chairs, blankets and whatever else you may need to stay cozy as those early September mornings can be chilly. There are about 45 participating pilots that you can book through to ride in the hot air balloon with them, so you can see the areas amazing mountain views from high that higher elevation. So join us Balloon Fest weekend here at the park and check out their website for more information on the festival!
