It’s that time of the year again, the signs are up, the streets are prepped, stores, restaurants, attractions and of course the Lake George RV Park are ready for Americade 2013. A tradition since 1983 this year Americade Week runs from June 1st through June 8th. This event draws tens of thousands of people to the area, including but not limited to vendors, motorcyclists, and tourists just looking to experience the occasion. This expo is like none other and transforms the town of Lake George into a biker’s dream world. You will be able to find Million Dollar Beach lined with vendors, activities and thousands upon thousands of one of a kind bikes. The planned festivities range from ghost tours to scavenger hunts, free battery checks and don’t forget the Lake George Rotary Charity Motorcycle Drawing. Whether or not you own a motorcycle, Americade is an event you definitely want to experience. And if you can’t experience it this year be sure to put it on your bucket list because this is one event you won’t want to miss!
