Mike Wolfe & Frank Fritz of American Pickers will be in the Lake George area during the month of April. The show American Pickers featured on the History Channel is a documentary about Mike and Frank finding old antiques through people’s ‘garbage’. They find old treasures that sometimes people didn’t even realize they had. These antiques range from old soda signs to vintage cars. If they find something special that really catches their eye Mike and Frank will make the owner an offer. They refer to their hobby as ‘picking’ and travel the United States in search of these hard to find pieces of history. We are delighted that they will be in our area, keep an eye out if you’re in town, you might even run into them!
