Apple picking is one of the best family activities our area has to offer in the fall! There are a few orchards that are in close proximity to the park that offer not only a variety of different types of apples, but apple cider, cider donuts, and all sorts of other locally sourced goods.
Hick’s Orchard in Granville even has a 1935 Hard Cider tasting room as well as the Slyboro Ciderhouse which makes for a wonderful fall date night! For more information on Hick’s Orchard click here! Another local orchard is Saratoga Apple. They offer a wide variety of local produce including: apples, peaches, plums, pears, squash and other fresh vegetables.
