Camper Etiquette Part 2

We want everyone to be Happy Campers during their stay at our park. In this campground etiquette post series, we will provide you with helpful tips to keep in mind for your upcoming visits. We want to ensure that everyone enjoys their time here at the Lake George RV Park and look forward to seeing everyone real soon.

Go The Speed Limit

Speed limits are put in place for the safety of all guests. There are many walkers and bikes on our main roads as guests navigate to amenities around the park. It is important to go slow and use caution especially around curves and down hills.

Mind Your Campfire

One of the best camping traditions is building a campfire and sitting around it with family and friends. Keep in mind this tradition can also be dangerous. Please be sure that your fire stays within the confines of the ring provided at your campsite. Never leave your campfire unattended and extinguish your fire before you leave your campsite or go to bed.  We also ask that you keep your campfire to a respectable size.

Keep A Tidy Campsite

While our park staff cleans every site after a guest’s departure we ask you to clean up as much as possible after yourselves. Try to leave your campsite the same way you arrived to it. We also ask that you keep your campsite organized and tidy each night putting all food away and garbage away to keep the animals away.

Keep All Facilities Clean

The park has numerous complimentary amenities for everyone to enjoy. While we have a wonderful janitorial and maintenance staff who work extremely hard to keep everything perfect for our guests, we ask guests to also be diligent. Pick up after yourself at the pool, picnic areas, at the bass fishing pond and at arcades. If you play a game or puzzle in the Family Lodge put it back for the next guest when you’re done. Treat the facilities like they are your home so each guest can enjoy a clean, happy space when it’s their turn.
