Daylight Savings

Since we are finally in March spring should be right around the corner. With that being said this weekend marks daylight savings time. During this daylight savings we push the clocks ahead by one hour. How many remember this is with the saying ‘springing ahead’. Pushing the clocks ahead by one hour will allow for more daylight into the evening hours. In the year 2007 the times of the year when we adjusted the clocks had changed. In the spring it changed to 3 weeks earlier than it used to be and in the fall it was pushed to a week later than years prior. The main reason for the change is the potential savings in energy this would allow for. So don’t forget when you go to sleep on Saturday night to move the time on your clock ahead one hour because otherwise you’re going to fall behind!

Lake George RV Park - Fun in Site!

Our current scheduled opening has been moved from Friday, May 8 to Monday, June 1 based on recent information provided us by Warren County and New York State Department of Health.  Governor Cuomo’s most recent public comments regarding his plans for a phased reopening of the New York economy clearly indicates that our Park will be unable to fully serve the needs and expectations of our guests through the end of May.  We still remain hopeful that our loyal guests will be able to return and enjoy camping in June.
