Discovering History!

Through August 19th, the SUNY Adirondack Archaeological Field School will be excavating two different sites up at the Fort William Henry in Lake George Village, both of these sites will be open to the public and guided tours will be available for those who wish to take a closer look at the History being unearthed on a daily basis.

One of the sites will be outside of the fort, along the east wall to the tip/point of the south east bastion. The other will be inside the Fort’s courtyard in the corner between the northwest bastion/north barracks and the west barracks.
