Discovering History!

Through August 19th, the SUNY Adirondack Archaeological Field School will be excavating two different sites up at the Fort William Henry in Lake George Village, both of these sites will be open to the public and guided tours will be available for those who wish to take a closer look at the History being unearthed on a daily basis.

One of the sites will be outside of the fort, along the east wall to the tip/point of the south east bastion. The other will be inside the Fort’s courtyard in the corner between the northwest bastion/north barracks and the west barracks.

Lake George RV Park - Fun in Site!

Our current scheduled opening has been moved from Friday, May 8 to Monday, June 1 based on recent information provided us by Warren County and New York State Department of Health.  Governor Cuomo’s most recent public comments regarding his plans for a phased reopening of the New York economy clearly indicates that our Park will be unable to fully serve the needs and expectations of our guests through the end of May.  We still remain hopeful that our loyal guests will be able to return and enjoy camping in June.
