Fall in the Adirondacks

We would never wish away your summer time fun, but we want to remind you that the fall season is a wonderful time to spend here in the Adirondacks. The leaves changing, makes for beautiful hiking scenery.  The Adirondacks has a trail for everyone from beginners to more advanced hikers.  There are a number of apple orchards around the area such as Hicks in Granville and McHorter’s Orchard in Argyle. September 20th-23rd is the Adirondack Balloon festival in Queensbury at the Warren County Airport.  There are a number of balloon launches and vendors creating a fun day for the whole family.  September 29th and 30th is the Warrensburg Garage Sale.  The sale takes over the whole town and could easily take you a whole day to see it all.  The park is a quiet and relaxing environment in the fall, perfect if you’re looking to unwind. Make your reservations soon as spots for these event weekends campers because spots are going fast.
