One of the oldest and most beloved summer pastimes is fishing. Here at the Lake George RV Park we make sure to provide the opportunity for family members to experience catching their very own fish. Located within the park we have two ponds, one for paddle boats and the other for bass fishing. Whether you just want to relax with your family for a quiet day of fishing or try fishing for your first time it makes for a wonderful afternoon or evening activity. Our pond is catch and keep and you also do not require a New York State Fishing License when fishing at our pond. While we do not rent fishing equipment we do sell all necessary equipment at our French Mountain Trading Post including live bait. We would also like to note that this upcoming weekend June 29th and 30th is free fishing weekend in New York State. This means that anyone of any age who would normally require a license to fish does not need one. Don’t miss a great opportunity to create new memories or try something that you never have done before. Who knows you might just get ‘hooked’ on fishing!
