We are lucky to be nestled away in one of the greatest parts of the world. Being located in the Adirondacks surrounded by so much natural beauty and just a few miles away from the infamous Lake George is a spectacular place to be. This weekend in downtown Lake George, at Shephards Park there is going to be a celebration for the Lake. Beginning on Friday September 27th and running through Sunday September 29th you won’t want to miss out on all the fun and festivities occurring down at the lake. During this festival you will have the opportunity to see live music performed by 6 different bands. If you’re into crafts you won’t want to miss out either as there will be multiple artisans displaying their unique craft items. Let the kids have fun at the petting zoo, on a pony ride or on a carnival ride. There will be strolling entertainers and multiple food vendors to choose from as well. For adults try your luck at a casino game or enjoy a craft beer and wine tasting. Saturday night enjoy a fireworks display over the lake. There is a minor $10.00 entrance fee but this is a onetime payment that allows entry for all three days. All the money generated will go to the task force protecting the ecological health of the Lake.
