Go Away Winter

We understand that our climate in the Adirondacks means all 4 seasons are inevitable, and we embrace them. We love spring; it always signifies the rebirth of all the plants and the return of all the animals scurrying around the park. For us it also means camping season is upon us. Opening day is one of our favorite days around here because there is nothing like seeing our wonderful guests again. Summer is what camping is all about. The warmer nights and children’s laughs echoing throughout the park. Soon those summer nights turn into autumn days. The golden hues line the trees and give the park a warm glow as the camping season draws to an end. The smell and sounds of a crackling fire occur throughout the days and into the night. Eventually our gates close for the season the days get shorter and cooler and the first snow fall comes. And it’s looking forward to the spring thaw that gets us through these long January days. See you soon campers!
