With the summer coming to an end there are a number of important fall dates to remember! Labor Day and Canadian Labor Day are on September 3rd this year. The next weekend beginning on Thursday September 6th through Sunday September 9th is the 30th Annual Adirondack Nationals Car Show in Lake George. The 46th annual Adirondack Balloon Festival is Thursday September 20th running morning and evening events through Sunday September 23rd. Balloon Festival holds their events at Crandall Park in Glens Falls and the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury. The Warrensburg Garage Sale is September 29th and 30th. It has lots of professional vendors as well as families selling their own treasures. October 1st is the first day to make reservations for the 2019 camping season. You can call the office or make them online. Don’t forget to make your reservations early, put down your deposit, and put in lots of requests. To close out the season Columbus Day weekend is a fun last hoorah for whole family. After Columbus Day and Canadian Thanksgiving on October 8th, the park closes for the 2018 season at 11am October 9th.
