Even though our park is closed during the winter months there is still a lot going on in the Lake George area. Now the downside to winter is the cold, but there are a lot of cool things you can do because of that! For instance there are multiple ice bars going up in the area. These are actual outside bars where you can sit and have a drink, and they are completely made of ice! With the cold this generally means snow as well and since we are located in the Adirondack Mountains, you guessed it! There are plenty of skiing and snowboarding options. Whether you just want to try it out or it’s your favorite hobby there are plenty of options out there. There are also multiple craft breweries and even a few wineries in the area. What a better way to warm up with a local brew or glass of vino? With February just around the corner the winter carnival will be here before we know it too!
