The Lake George RV Park has remained open throughout this challenging weather event. The Park sustained little damage and has been able to consistently serve the guests present on the property during the storm. Miraculously no RV’s, vehicles or other permanent structures were damaged by this fierce storm. Our grounds crews are busy cleaning the park from the significant amount of debris left by Irene. Power was restored to the entire camping resort and most of the Lake George Region on Monday morning, only 25 hours after it was lost. We are currently registering guests on a daily basis since the storm moved away. We expect to have all of our campsite areas ready for occupancy ahead of our scheduled guest arrivals. All of our amenities and services are expected to operate on a normal schedule as well. On a very positive note, we have been experiencing beautiful weather since Irene past by and the extended forecast for this coming holiday weekend and beyond is looking terrific.
