It’s that time again, October 1st is finally here! For those who don’t know what the significance of October 1st is, this is the first day you can make reservations for the 2014 season! And with a new season we have plenty of new enhancements for our guests. As many of you might have saw this past summer, there was a rather large clearing off of our East West Boulevard as you are heading down towards the East End of our park. This clearing is going to be the home of our new dog park area and pavilion. This centrally located park will be 3 acres large and will provide a place for off leash recreation for your K9’s. We also implemented another significant change; we changed the minimum age for children. Children 12 years and younger will now be free, whereas it used to be ages 5 and under. If you’re familiar with our East Building on the 3rd floor we had the Adult Lounge, we have changed this to Our Adirondack Family Lodge. Children may now join their parents in this space which was previously reserved for adults only. We will be including more board games and puzzles for all ages to enjoy in addition to our previously popular amenities. In response to your requests, we have designated a collection of specific sites which may be used for guests that wish to stay at our park for the entire season. This collection of 17 sites will be part of our seasonal program, be sure to call our office for further details. Finally we would like to announce that we have received the highest rating from the campground inspectors at Good Sam Travel Guide, they were previously known as Woodall’s and TrailerLife. We are extremely proud to be one of only a few campgrounds in the United States to have met the newest rating criteria! As we are sad to see another season end are very excited for the new one that is soon to begin! Happy Fall Campers!
