Toasty’s Tip #31

Hey campers! Stink alert!!! Don’t forget your battery is important to look at if you’re storing your RV without leaving electrical power hooked up to it for chargin’. The batteries need to be removed and stored inside a warm toasty area, up off the floor. The reason–the batteries could freeze and burst. Plus the battery will stink next season when you hook-up the electrical! Stink like rotten eggs! And that’s not good for anyone, especially your camping neighbors. If you plan on using your RV during the winter, just keep it plugged in, and check the water in the batteries at least monthly. Toasty Out.
