Don’t miss out on the Washington County Fair from 8/23 to 8/29! Just about 20 minutes away from the park, there will be tons of fun activities for a reasonable price. Tickets for anyone over 13 are $12, anyone under is free, and then Wednesday is Senior day where you get a discount ticket of $6 if you are 62+. Parking is also free with golf cart stations all around for you to call and hitch a ride to the gate! Full of delicious food there’s no way you will leave unsatisfied. Sit and watch one of the many livestock shows while you munch away on some popcorn, sausage and peppers, cotton candy, caramel apples and so much more. Before you overindulge on the delicious fair fries make sure to experience some of the rides that are offered for $20/20 tickets at the fair or $10/20 tickets when bought online. You can also get a laugh out of watching the hot dog pig races and cheer on your favorite pig! For those of you that love all things trucks and tractors, stop by the grand stand and watch some of the tractor pull races and shows. The fair is a local staple and should absolutely be experienced while up in the area!
