Water Sports in the Area

Lake George is a great spot to spend the day on the water.  Life is just better on the water.  Less timelines, more tan lines.

If you have your own water craft, you can launch it at Dunham’s Bay Marina on the East Side of Lake George.  The East side of Lake George is less busy, and more relaxing.

If you don’t have your own water craft, you can choose to rent one from a few marinas in the area.  Chic’s Marina has a fleet of rental boats as well as jet skis, paddle boards, tubes and wake boards!  If you can’t find it at Chic’s, you don’t need it.

The Schroon Lake Marina has a fleet of rental boats and they offer rentals of their tubes, water skis, wake boards, etc.  The Schroon Lake Marina is located on Schroon Lake, so it is a little less busy than Lake George.

If motorized water sports are not your thing, The Kayak Shack is located on Saratoga Lake.  It is a quick 20 minute drive from our park.  They rent single rider kayaks, double rider kayaks and paddle boards.

Tubby Tubes is a local company that offers lazy river tubing.  They will provide you with everything except water shoes, which are required.  They drop off and pick you up and shuttle you back to their office to pick up your vehicles.

Jump in while its still warm campers, fall will be here before you know it!
