One of the best parts of working here at the park is that we get to meet people from all over the world! Better yet, they give us the honor of helping them celebrate their national holidays. This in turn creates a festive atmosphere in the park which wouldn’t exist without the help of our international friends!
Victoria Day is a Canadian Holiday that falls on Monday, May 22nd this year! This holiday honors Queen Victoria who was the sovereign at the time of Canada’s birth as a country in 1867. Our location in relation to Canada makes Lake George an ideal long-weekend getaway for our Canadian friends! There are also attractions to enjoy in the area as well as you celebrate! Whether that’s a stroll through the village, a historic cruise on the lake or a round of geography themed mini golf, we are sure there is something for everybody! Happy Victoria Day to all!
